The Alum House 

Your Holiday Cottage near Tewkesbury "The Alum House", is a bijou two-storey cottage for a couple of discerning holidaymakers.  Originally built for the Northwest Gloucestershire Water Board about 100 years ago, this unique property has been converted to a high standard.

THE LOUNGE AREA The accommodation comprises a tastefully furnished lounge which features an impressive timbered vaulted ceiling. (See below for Facilities)  

The Kitchen

There is a well-equipped corner kitchen with everything you need.

A restored Victorian spiral staircase leads down to the comfortable bedroom (Double Bed) with en suite shower room leading off.

The Bedroom

In the interest of other visitors, smokers are kindly requested not to smoke in the bedroom. Thankyou!

The building complies with all current fire safety standards with smoke detectors, extinguishers etc.

There is ample parking space - a boat or even a small caravan in addition to your car can easily be accommodated. We regret we are unable to accommodate pets.

All Linen, Towels, Fuel and Electricity are included at no extra cost. 

There is a small Patio area with Barbecue for those long summer evenings watching the sun set over the Malvern hills.

Facilities

· Lounge - "freesat" TV/Radio, Stereo System. Flat Screen TV/DVD, VCR. Electric Fire and Storage heater. Internet access available (Please ask for details).
· Kitchen - Cutlery, crockery, egg-cups, utensils, etc. Gas hob, Fridge, Microwave, Compact Toaster Oven, Toaster, Kettle, etc.
· Bedroom - Storage & Convector Heaters. All Linen & Towels are provided.
· Cleaning - between 10.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday Morning (if staying longer than one week).
