1)AVAILABILITY - Click HERE for the Calendar showing current availability. The Grey Dates are not available.
Select the number of nights you want to stay, then your proposed start date. You will immediately see the cost of your holiday.
Use this information to contact us directly (See CONTACTS) or click "OK" to book it via Cottages Direct. If booking direct with us, you may prefer to print and send the BOOKING FORM, or copy to your email.

2) SHORT BREAKS - Charge is 20% of weekly rate per night. Minimum charge is for 3 nights (=60% Weekly Rate).
If a Short Break "bridges" a price change, then this calculation will be made on the higher weekly rate.
(Short Breaks are not normally available for weeks shown in BOLD, but we may be able to make a special arrangement - please speak to us.)

3) PAYMENT - Deposit on booking is 20% (10% if booking via Cottages Direct)  The balance is due one month before occupation, please.  The full amount is payable if your start date is within one month of booking. Deposits are not normally refundable.

4) EXTRAS - There are no "extras" - price includes all fuel, heating, bed linen & towels. Should you stay for more than one week - cleaning, linen change etc will take place each Saturday, for your convenience.

5) TIMES - Normal rentals are from 3pm on arrival day to 10am on departure day.

6)CLOSED - The Alum House is not usually available during December and January.

7) CANCELLATION - Should you have to cancel BEFORE the balance is due, we will endeavour to re-let. If we are successful we will refund your deposit. Should you cancel AFTER payment of the balance, again we will refund the full amount if we are able to re-let (although you will appreciate this is less likely in view of the short time-scale). You may choose to insure yourself against Holiday Cancellation.
